Your every action-every quest completed, every battle fought-contributes to the war effort and can turn the tide of battle, bringing victory to your Realm!

- Explore massive Living Cities that become more or less prosperous based on a Realm's overall performance in the ongoing war. Navigate a maze of twisting streets, visit the local tavern, explore a dark under-city, and meet colorful personalities in a city full of adventure.
- Advanced guild features give unprecedented control to leaders and members, and make guilds an integral part of the war efforts. Guilds can create unique heraldry, capture and claim keeps, and earn Guild Tactics as they grow in power along with their members.

fun but with some problems December 1, 2008 Glenn W. Eckmeier This game is awesome! the content, quests, graphics, everything about this game is great. The quest lines (if you read them and not just plow through) really gives you a feeling for the 25 years of lore that was made previous to this game's conception. The big problem, at least on my server is that unlike a PVE based game where the NPCs are always waiting for you when ever you are ready. this is a PVP based game and other people don't always do what you want them to do in order for you to progress further in the endgame. but still the game is far better than many other i've played.
Save Your Money, Buy World of Warcraft Instead.... November 30, 2008 A. S. Rankin (Georgia) I played this game in beta and into the release for 2 months before I canceled. Mythic dropped the ball and it came down as a big thud...dud of a game. It's an absolutely terrible PvP game and it's an absolutely terrible PvE game. The game seems like it wants to be kinda like WoW but have better PvP, but there's no EPIC pvp as promised. I played Dark Age of Camelot a game Mythic put out years ago and Warhammer is no where near the game DAOC was for RvR. Warhammer was promised to be an EPIC ongoing battle of RvR, instead it's more like crappier WoW battlegrounds ongoing. It seems like Mythic was trying to grab WoW playerbase and they failed miserably trying. Just save your money, time, and frustration and buy World of Warcraft in my opinon. Warhammer is in such bad shape with low populated servers, it feels like a ghost town anywhere you go ingame. 60 something US servers all low/low except maybe 4 or 5 that are at med/med. The game is bleeding to death very quickly.
Great Game! November 29, 2008 Reff Jak (Chicago, IL USA) I have played World of Warcraft and enjoyed it for many years. But, WAR is a MUCH better game. Mythic does a better job listening to their subscribers and giving them what they want!
Install problems with DVD version November 28, 2008 Howard Williams (Higley, AZ) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
As much as I dislike reviewing a product without having played it, EA gives me no choice in the matter. My DVD version of the game was not able to be installed. This is not an isolated incident but from what I've gathered online it is a widespread problem with the DVD version. Those who downloaded the game are lucky (or wise?) Support will run you through many "fixes" which do not work, as I'm sure they know before they tell you. Seeing as how the game takes such a long time to install, having to install the entire game, uninstall, and reinstall again wasted at least 10 hours of my time, which I'd like back please EA, thank you very much.
One of the Very Best MMO's... November 28, 2008 Eric Clevinger 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pros: -Excellent PvP (player vs player) system, one of the best among MMO's. -Public Quests are a wonderful PvE feature with great Rewards. -Tome of Knowledge - A neat feature that stores info and facts about your characters. -No Grinding Quests. (i.e., Slaying 50 or 60 wolves just to get 5 "hunk of wolf meat" drops). -PvP and PQ's are easy to access. -Great Graphics! Cons: -Numerous bugs (including crashes-to-desktop) that are still not fixed, even 2 months after release. -Lack of solid PvE Endgame content. -No official community forums. -Game was launched with too many servers; depending on the server you choose, you can have a hard time finding other players willing to do Open PvP. Overall: Great game! Definably worth trying.
