Im currently taking Hebrew in college as part of my global education requirment. I decided to do so after taking some Judaic history classes. I wanted to learn more about Jewish culture and decided to sign up for Hebrew. Unfortunately most of the kids in the class were already well versed or very familiar with the language. The teacher knowing this excellerated the class (so the fakers wouldn't get bored), but it really frustrated me and some of the other real students trying to learn. Im sure there is some other people who can relate to this situation.
This CD-ROM so far has been my best solution. In the comfort of your home you can learn basic words and phrases. all you do is point and click and you can hear the desired word in a female or male voice (of your choosing). I feel much more confident in the classroom now that I have this CD-ROM to sudy from.
I think Hebrew 110 teachers should add this CD into their lesson plan.
